Adella Lachowicz quietly passed away on May 5, 2022 at the age of 105. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Lachowicz; loving mother of Joann (David) and Dolores (Alden); cherished grandmother of Denise (Frank) and David (Jean); great-grandmother of Amber (Josh) and Miranda (William); great-great grandmother of Zelda and Piper.

Adella's family will forever be grateful to the staff at Henry Ford Village (Allegria) Assisted Living and Heart to Heart Hospice for the tender and loving care they so graciously gave her.

Adella was a compassionate and generous lady who would always help others in their times of need.  She was a very creative lady with expertise in garment sewing, gardening, flower arranging and many other interesting crafts. But above all, and through the years, it was so very important to her to organize and gather her extended family to her home for various special occasions and parties through her years. She truly loved being surrounded by her loved ones.

This special lady will be so deeply missed by so many.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 9, 2022 from 12:00-8:00PM with the Rosary starting at 7:00pm at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home Taylor Chapel 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 11:00am and the in-state will be held at 10:00am located in the chapel at Allegria Village (formally known as Henry Ford Village) 15101 Ford Road, Dearborn, MI 48126. Adella will be interred at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield, MI following mass.
