SASSO, Aimée Diana, born January 7, 1970 passed away March 5, 2015. She will be deeply missed by her parents Patrick and Anita Sasso and her brothers Patrick (Gina) and Michael (Natasha). She leaves behind her special nephew Leopold. After graduating high school at Assumption College Aimée went on to study at Eastern Michigan University where she earned undergraduate degrees in Early Childhood, English Language and Literature, and Elementary Science Education. Aimée continued her academic pursuits resulting in a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education Inclusion with Honors from the University of Michigan. It was Aimée's vocation to become a teacher. She put her heart and soul into teaching pre-kindergarten with Detroit Public Schools since 2001. Aimée put love and thought into finding just the right activities to engage their young minds. She touched the lives of many students and they meant the world to her. Her persistence and perseverance will keep her family proud. She is an angel for us.
