Alfred Grant "Al" Rowledge of Dearborn Heights, MI, has passed away at the age of 75. He was welcomed into the Lord's kingdom on December 7, 2021 after a month-long struggle with Covid-19.

A proud "Yooper", Alfred was born on July 20th, 1946, to father, Alfred, and mother, Pauline, in Ishpeming in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Alfred was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force and was an avid fan of classic cars, music, and sports.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Rowledge, nee Sandman, who he married on October 17th, 1970 in Muskegon, MI. He is also survived by sons Christopher, Michael, and Andrew, grandchildren, Mary, Katherine, Grant, Charles, and Thomas. He grew up with and is survived by his two elder sisters, Diane Brown and Marguerite "Peggy" Betts of Fremont, MI, and has many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Pauline Rowledge, grandparents, Alfred Rowledge and Ella Palmer and grandparents, Herbert and Amalia Tonkin.

Visitation at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 14, 4-9pm. A funeral service will be held at Unity Lutheran Church in Southgate, MI on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021, at 12pm, officiated by Pastor Jack Eggleston. Gathering at the church starts at 11am.

He will be buried at Lakeside Cemetery in Muskegon, MI.
