Alice Margaret Cooper (Barum), 69, of Dearborn, passed away peacefully at home on August 5, 2022

Alice was born on January 30, 1953, to George and Gertrude Barum in Detroit. After graduating from Redford High School in 1971, she went on to become a licensed cosmetologist.

Alice went onto work for the Dearborn Police Department for over 25 years. This was her true calling. She enjoyed the interaction with the law enforcement officers. Alice attended Police Week in Washington DC twice, once in 2003 and then again in 2012 To remember and honor her great niece Jessica Nagle Wilson.

Beloved mom of Jamie Cooper and Erin (Nick) Washington.

Loving grandma of Aimee (Ashley), Molly, Lorelai and Jo Alyse.

Grandma and Guardian Angel of her grandson Liam.

Dear sister of Nancy Barum, Barbara (Sam) Rubaie and her late siblings Mary Ellen, Patricia, Janie, Rosemarie, George (Sonny), Michael (Leo) and Judy.

Dear dog mom of Chopper, Niall, Murphy and the late Harry. Great grand dog mom to Smudge.

Cherished aunt of Heather, Danielle and great aunt of Josie. She also leaves behind many, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
