Allan Hugh Leech (April 11, 1936 – December 3, 2018)

West Bloomfield – It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Allan H. Leech, age 82, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was preceded in death by his dear parents, Mary Elisabeth and Arthur Hugh Leech, United Kingdom. He is survived by his loving wife Kathryn Fitzpatrick; step-son, Scott Fitzpatrick; Step-Daughter-In-Law, Grace Lin; and first wife, Judith Farrar; Florida. In the U.K.: his sister Irene Harvey-Smith; his nephews, John, David, Chris and Tim; his cousin, Christina Ray Downing.

Allan retired from Masco Corporation after 30 years as President of MascoTech Forming Technologies, headquartered in Royal Oak, MI. Born in the United Kingdom, Allan served Her Majesty the Queen as a British Royal Marine and was a veteran of the 1956 Suez Canal War.

To honor Allan's wishes there will not be a public gathering. For those desiring memorial contributions, the family would suggest: The Alzheimer's Foundation; Salvation Army; Samaritan's Purse; The Care Team Hospice; on Northwestern Highway, in Farmington Hills. Or, any charity of your choice.
