Taylor, Alvilda

Born on December 20, 1915 in Bell Buckle TN, the daughter of Omar and Amy (Trail) Crosslin.

The family moved to Detroit in 1928, when she was 13 years old. She married Wm. Wade Taylor on July 22, 1939. Wade predeceased her in 1986. They resided in Detroit until the early 1960's and moved to Dearborn for their remaining years.

Loving mother of Sharla Joyce (Arthur) Fantin, Gregory Wade (Frances), and Gary Duane.

Doting "Grammy" of Lori (Mitch) Doepke, Jill, Todd, Greg, Keri, Wendy, and Gary.

Proud great-grandmother of 13 and great-great grandmother of 2.

Dear sister in-law of Ruth Crosslin.

Proceeded in death by her parents, Omar and Amy, her husband Wade, sister Ora (Everett) Cornwell, and brothers, Owen, Oran (Lela), and Edgar.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5th, from 9:30 AM until 11 AM at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave., Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM.
