Al O'Sada. He passed away January 12th peacefully in his sleep at the age of 93. Married 63 years to the love of his life, Joyce, we find great comfort in knowing they are once again reunited. Their love was truly one of a kind and inspirational.

Al had a strong work ethic that started at a young age. He was fourteen when he began slinging mail bags at the Michigan Central Station, He spoke about how grand he felt eating his lunch in such a beautiful building. This built up to Al being a Dearborn business owner for over 50 years. He and Joyce owned and operated Hair Designs North in Dearborn for over 40 years along with The Pink Poodle and Hair Designs Unlimited for 25 years.

He loved doing hair and had a thirst for constantly learning the new trends and techniques. He learned from some of the best and won several awards himself. He truly was passionate about what he did and his motto was "When you look good, you feel good." He retired at 82 and the last haircut he performed was on his wife, Joyce.

Al bravely served in the Army in the Korean War and played in the Army band to help entertain the troops. He loved all different types of art from painting, photography and music. Another thing he grew very fond of was playing with his computers.

We sure will miss his stories and his positive energy. When he was asked, "How are you ?", he always responded,
"Fantastic and getting better."
Rest easy, Al. Your life was truly a life well lived.

A memorial gathering will be on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and cremation services.
