Obituary

Amy Caverne passed away 7/11/2022 at the age of 98. She joins devoted husband, Tom, in their final resting place. Proud mother of Wendy Imberg (John), Pamela Weir (Rich), Clint Caverne (deceased) and Julie Moreno (Michael). Beloved grandmother of Katie, Kyla, Heidi, Emily and Sophia; and great grandmother to Cadence, Blaney and Hutson.

Graduating from Alma College with a bachelors in art education, Amy was devoted to the arts. Music filled her home and the paintings she created in her living environment defined the beauty and serenity of Amy. An avid supporter of family, Amy attended all athletic and musical events. Amy was also a lifetime member of the Artists' Society of Dearborn.

For 35 years, as a historical interpreter at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Amy demonstrated cooking, gardening and crafts at the historic homes. Towards the end of her tenure, she painted landscapes that embellish the Village carousel. Amy was passionate about her work at "the Village".

Amy was a kind, energetic and gentle woman who will be greatly missed by her friends and family. The family is currently organizing a small, intimate Celebration of Her Life event.
