Obituary

Ana Katrina Gabor Navarro-Hargis (1987-2025)

She said to me once "Baby, you know I love you like so so much, more than anything in the entire world, you and only you forever and ever, always". That was the kind of love we shared with each other, the love that you can spend your entire life searching for and still not find, the love that only comes once in a lifetime. Her love extended to everyone around her not just family and friends, she had a way about her with an infectious bright light that she shared with anyone. We are all richer, happier, and fortunate individuals for having met Ana and shared in her presence. My Beloved Wife, My Baby Love, Ana Katrina. Ikaw ang pinakamagandang nangyari sa akin, Mahal kita hanggang sa dulo ng walang hanggan. (Translation: You're the best thing that happened to me, I love you to the end of forever)

Ana Katrina will always be remember for her amazing baking and cooking skills, her keen taste and fashion sense along with the skill and style for making her own outfits, her love of perfume and anything with the color purple. How quick she could light up the room with just a smile or her voice and laughter. You could feel her presence in everything she did at work with her friends and co-workers, or at home with family. She was an unstoppable Filipino typhoon of anger (when her husband deserved it) but also a gentle and kind loving wife, sister, daughter, auntie (tita), and friend. She would go out of her way to make sure that you were always taken care of first no matter what and no matter who you were, if you were hungry or had no food she made sure you ate or made sure she cooked you some, warm or cold she made sure you were comfortable, lonely or sad she made sure to comfort you, happy and joyful she would celebrate with you. Ana touched the lives of so many in such a short amount of time, we could not have asked for a better wife, friend, sister, auntie (tita) or daughter and we will miss her terribly every day since she was so tragically taken from us too soon. Ana's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
