HESPEN, Andrene July 20, 2008 age 84 Beloved wife of the late Richard C. Hespen. Dear mother of Catherine Joe Wolford. Proud grandmother of William and Sarah Andrene Genematas. Sister-in-law of Hilda and the late Phillip J. Hespen. Aunt of Karen Ken Kanniainen and Phil Jackie Hespen. Great aunt of Lisa Warren Cantrell and Elizabeth Cantrell, Phil and Alyssa Hespen. Cousin of Jean Jamieson and Archie Mae Clark. A friend to many. Andrene was a Dearborn resident most of her life graduating from Fordson High School in 1942. She received her B.A. and M.A. from Wayne State University and was employed as a teacher by the Detroit Public School system until her retirement in 1981. Andrene was active in the Dearborn Chapter of AAUW American Association of University Women. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 16 at Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church in Dearborn Telegraph & Cherry Hill.
