Angela Haag, 79, of Dearborn, Michigan,  died Monday, May 29. 2017. She left us very unexpectedly. A service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Howe-Peterson. Angela was a wife, mother and Oma (grandmother). She was born in Bad Warmbrunn, Germany, March 27, 1938. Angela met and married Jakob Haag on April 29, 1960 in Braunfels, Germany. She immigrated to America.  As time passed she had two daughters, Brigitte and Andrea. They lived in Detroit from 1960 until 1969, when they moved to Dearborn, MI.  An avid traveler, book lover and coffee & dessert lover, Angie's real and abiding passions were her family and friends. Angie sought to instill in her children a zest for life, a great sense of humor, a commitment to family and friends and the power of a smile. Angie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jakob Haag; their daughters, Andrea Haag and Brigitte (Haag) Todd (& Curtis). Their 3 kids; her grandchildren, Daniel Todd, Erika Todd and Faith Todd; her sister, Irmgard Zeitler, her niece Annette Zeitler (& Michael Müller) and her nephew, Jochen and his family .

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you buy a stranger a cup of coffee in honor of Angie, and to smile more and spend time with your loved ones. That is what Angie would wish for you.
