Angela Lightner, 59 of Dearborn Heights passed away on the morning of March 18th, 2025. Angela was born on September 11th, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan. She leaves behind her mother and step father, Paulette (Michael) Townsend and her late father John Lightner.  She is the Loving Mother of Jason Ward, Jesse Miller, and Amber (Matthew) Frazier. She mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren and had a special place in her heart for them! Her 6 grandchildren are Mallory, Devin, Avery, Matthew Jr, Aliyah and Miyah, they will miss her dearly! Angela also leaves behind her brother Johnny. Angela graduated from Annapolis High School in 1983. While Angela showed interest in different career choices throughout her life, she mostly remained a homemaker. Angela spent her remaining years catching up with friends, enjoying tribute bands, concerts and hanging out with family.  We will cherish moments with her the most!  She was very spiritual and a free spirit.
To anyone who would like to come say goodbye, celebrate her life and share memories, we will be holding a Celebration of her Life at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home at 9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI 48180  from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with  Service at 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 23.
