Ann Elizabeth Tucker

Ann Tucker of Taylor Michigan left our warm embrace to Fly with Angels Sunday May 5th. In a life cut short by Cancer, Ann lived as if she were never Ill. Born Ann Hendry in the Minnesota in 1961, she was the middle child in the middle class, in the middle of America. She did not stay in the middle for long. Ann had two careers. Her First was as a travel Agent at World Travel in Plymouth Michigan. It was her Airline career that had Ann rise to the very top of the World's largest Airline in 7 short years. From a Ticket Agent at Northwest Airlines, Ann rose to become the Executive assistant to the Director of In-Flight Service for American airlines in Dallas Texas. Ann's life was filled with Travel and Romance, Her Marriage of 38 years to Husband Mitch was better than any story Book could tell. Diagnosed with a "Uniformly Fatal" Cancer in 2013, Ann was given a 2 year Prognosis. In 5 years and 6 months of living with Cancer Ann never conceded a moment. She faced each treatment bravely and with optimism for getting better. Ann had a Plan, Cancer was not going to get in the way of that Plan. The outpouring of love for Ann was Amazing. She was able to hear from literally hundreds of those she had touched while she was with us. She left this world fulfilled, at Peace, Complete and surrounded by loved ones. Ann is survived by Her son Marshall, Husband Mitch, siblings Bill, Doug Barbara and Mary. Ann's formal Service will be with her Family May 25th, she will rest with her Parents and Family at Lorain Cemetery in Wisconsin. We will celebrate her life locally with an Irish Wake.
