Anna Gooch passed away on September 13, 2025 at the age of 69. Loving wife of the late Tom Gooch. Beloved mother of Wayne (Sherry) Wise, and Brett (Erica) Wise. Proud grandmother of Devon, Drake, David, and Arianna Wise (Marriam). Dear sister of Joseph Hubbert, Marion Howard, and Janet Dooley. Anna is also survived by many loving step children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Anna lived life boldly and unapologetically. She was fun, fierce, and full of laughter — the kind of person who could light up a room with her presence and keep it lit with her stories, sass, and signature grin. A true rebel at heart, Anna did things her way and never let anyone dim her spark. Right until the very end, she stayed true to herself — wild, free, and wonderfully unforgettable.

She loved cookouts, barbeques, and any reason to gather, eat, and enjoy. Always the life of the party, Anna could be found holding court around the grill or at the card table, where she loved to play with friends and family — and usually win. Whether it was a game of spades, rummy, or poker, she played with both joy and fierce competitiveness.

Anna had a heart as big as her laugh. Generous to a fault, she was always the first to give — whether it was her time, a meal, or a shoulder to lean on. She loved going out and was always up for an adventure. To many, she was more than just a friend, mother, or grandmother — she was a partner in crime with her granddaughter and best friend Patty, the one who always said yes when others hesitated, and made every moment memorable.

Anna leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a trail of great stories that will be told for years to come. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit — bold, loving, and untamed — will live on in the hearts of those lucky enough to have shared in her life. Tom and Anna are now riding together in heaven.
