Anthony "Tony" Sciarrotta – Age 85 passed away in his home in Dearborn surrounded by his family on December 9 ^th , 2018. Anthony was born to the late John and Christine Sciarrotta on March 27, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 blissful years Betty (ne. Seat) Sciarrotta. Proud father of Janet (John) Jergovich, Donna Andrus, John (Leah) Sciarrotta, Frank Sciarrotta, Bonnie Sciarrotta, Joe (Pam) Sciarrotta, and Kristine Sciarrotta. Cherished grandfather of Cara (Josh), John Anthony, Nina (Paul), Janna (Zachary), Erica (Dan), Carly (Patrick), Michael, Anthony, Antonio, Peter, Adriana, and Tia. Dearest great-grandfather of Jake, Addison, Luke, Zachary, Brooke, Yianni, Stella, Amelia, and Baby Courtney. Treasured brother of the late Rosemary Barsotti. Caring uncle of Dante, Bobby, Mary Jo, and the late John and Anthony Barsotti. Tony will be missed by so many additional cousins, family, and friends.

Tony lived an amazing and full life to the very end. In his younger years he was an avid golfer. He worked as a business agent for the Teamster Local 299 and was a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Tony spent his winters in Delray Beach in Florida and played his favorite card game: Gin. He had a fierce love for his family and friends and loved anyone he met. As he would say, "We are all God's children".  Tony was a fighter through and through and will be missed greatly by those who's lives he touched.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 13 from 1-8PM at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Funeral mass will be Friday, December 14, instate 10:30AM until time of mass at 11AM located at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 22430 Michigan Ave, Dearborn.
