Armond L. Sell passed away on February 25th, 2021 at the age of 90. Born on April 12, 1930 in Detroit, MI to Harriet "Loretta" Sell (nee Curtis) and Armond F. Sell. Raised in St. Clair Shores, MI and attended Lakeshore High School (1948). He graduated from Central Michigan University in 1952 with a Bachelors Degree in Music. He later graduated from Michigan State University in 1961 with a Masters Degree in Music. Armond taught vocal music at Anchor Bay High School from 1954-1959, and taught vocal music and Social Studies at Dearborn Public Schools from 1959-1995. He was in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954 as a Sargent in communications and served in Korea. He received a Commendation Ribbon with a Bronze Star during his time in the service. He Married Evelyn E. Syring on June 16th, 1956 in Colby, WI. She was a teacher of Home Economics. They have been married for 64 years. In 1995 he retired and continued to do substitute teaching. Loving father to Gloria E.(Paul) Schumann and the late Steven C. Sell. Proud grandfather to Dan Sell, Andy Sell, Samantha Schumann, Logan Schumann, Katarina Schumann, and the late Laura Sell. Cherished great grandfather to Andrew (A.J.) Sell, Gabriella Sell, and Alex Sell. Beloved brother to Ila B. Harvey, Ruth E. Reinert, the late Joy E. Roth, and the late Fay E. Konath.
