Obituary

Hidalgo, Arturo A., aged 91, of Taylor, Michigan passed away December 15, 2018.

Beloved Husband of Marion of 67 years. Dearest Father of Michael (Sheryl), Deborah, and the late Patrick. Loving Grandfather of Nicholas, Cody, Amber, Erin, Michaela, Nicole, and Art. Proud Great-Grandfather of nine and Proud Great-Great-Grandfather of two. Proceeded in death by five brothers and five sisters.

Mr. Hidalgo was a World War II and Korean War Veteran and honorably serving both the Army and the Navy.

He loved hummingbirds and orchids. In his pass time, he enjoyed golfing. Mr. Hidalgo was a dedicated parishioner St. Alfred Catholic Church, proudly serving as an usher, volunteered on the decorating committee for many years and proudly sang in the choir.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alfred Catholic Church, 24175 Bask St., Taylor, Michigan 48180, on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 at 10:00 am. Visitation at the church from 9:30 am until the beginning of Mass. Visitation will be held from the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9800 S. Telegraph Rd., Taylor, Michigan 48180 on Tuesday, December 18th, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Scripture/Rosary at 6:30 pm. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
