Barbara "Sue"
Bacalia
January 26, 1941 – October 31, 2025
Barbara "Sue" Bacalia, age 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31st surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Harry, together for 68 ½ years. Loving mother of Tonie (Les) Jenkins and Terie (Chuck Buck) Bacalia. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Manning, Dr. Lauryn Jenkins, Rylie Jenkins, Cody Buck, Dalton Buck, Brianna Buck, Sarah Moore, Chelsea Buck, and Charlie Buck. Great-grandmother to Serenity, Savannah, Sierra, Aubree, Zachary Jr., Jaylee and Jaxson. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Sue is preceded in death by her parents Marion and John Dodson along with her sisters Jean (Gerry) Schmitz and Johnnie (Bill) Karczewski.
Sue was a strong, kindhearted, and selfless woman who never wanted to trouble anybody. She found joy in life's simple moments. Always starting her day with two cups of coffee, watching her favorite shows, listening to the soothing sound of water, and savoring banana splits down to the last bite. Above all, she loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her Grand-dogs.
Everyone who met Sue was touched by her warmth and gentle spirit. Her kindness, humor, and love will be forever missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.
