With children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren nearby; Barbara Ann Miller Gracik, 87, of Tawas City, MI, died March 13, 2020, at her daughter's home in Dearborn, MI.

She was born December 20, 1932, in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Evelyn O'Connor Miller and Herbert Hugh Miller. She was the oldest of 12 siblings. Barbara married Francis John Gracik May 30,1952, in Saginaw, Michigan.

Barb graduated from Saginaw High School, finished her bachelor's degree at Saginaw Valley State University, and earned her master's degree at Central Michigan University. Devoted to learning, she taught at Arenac-Eastern Elementary School in Twining, MI. Barbara enjoyed travel and visited all 50 states; as well as several countries including Mexico, Canada, The United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, and Spain. She was creative and artistic, pursuing painting, quilting, knitting, crocheting, gardening, needlepoint, and embroidery. She won several awards for her colorful, magnificent quilts.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 67 years, Francis John; children Mary (John) Leatherman of Shepherd, MI and Weymouth, MA; Jack (Alease Loitz) of Zimmerman, MN; Dave (Julie Croteau) of Sterling Heights, MI; Glenn (Gina) of North Pole, AK; (Carol) of Milwaukee, WI; Theresa of Ann Arbor, MI; Judy (Mike) Whalen of Spring Lake, MI; Steve (Lisa) of Zimmerman, MN; and Sue (Denny) Wyman of Dearborn, MI; and 6 siblings. She also leaves behind 24 beloved grandchildren and 18 precious great-grandchildren. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings, her son, Bill, and a great-granddaughter.
