Hales, Barbara Jean of Dearborn died September 4, 2021 at the age of 86. Loving mother of Patrick (Judi) Hales and Christopher Hales. Loving sister of brother Alex (Marilyn) Toth. Beloved aunt of Laura (Ray) Cogo, Julia Joy Toth and Caroline (Matt) Booth-Naif. Reunited with her beloved husband Pierre (Pete) G. Hales and son Pierre Jr. and sisters Rosemary (Jim) Brannan and Susan Toth. Barbara was a teacher with the Dearborn Public School system and Athletic Director for women's sports for Fordson High School. Her greatest joy was teaching beginners how to swim. Barbara loved to read, play golf and vacation in Marco Island, FL. Private cremation services entrusted to Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.
