Barbara E. Koppitsch, 86, passed away August 16th, 2018 in Wyandotte, Michigan.

She joins her husband Clarence (d. 1989), married in 1972, in everlasting peace.

Proud mother to Jack (Millie) Jamieson, Phyllis Montgomery, Debbie (the late John) Hubbell, Denise (Dennis) Cushing, and Barbie (Jim) Kinser.

Beloved grandmother of Joe, Sherri, Shauna, Dennis, Jimi, PJ, Shannon, Lindsay, Amber, Tommy, Cristal, Tiffany, Tyler, and the late Micki.

Dear great-grandmother to 19, treasured sister of Norine Boettcher and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother Steve (Wanda) Kroetsch and sister Mary Wiener.

Barbara was a woman of many interests. She loved to travel to Las Vegas and California with her family and friends. She had a knack for bingo and won big now and then. She always knew the best garage sale routes and enjoyed searching for treasures at them. Barbara was the most selfless woman you could ever have the honor of meeting. Her friends were as close as her family and she put her loved ones first no matter what.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 23rd from 3-8PM. Funeral will be Friday, August 24th, at 10AM. All services will be at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Road. Barbara will be laid to rest at Parkview Cemetery.
