Barbara Mae Lyons (nee Perez) passed away on Nov. 18, 2023 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late John V. Lyons and daughter of Juan and Grace Lopez. Dearest mother of Kathy (Greg) Urbanek, Patrick (Lisa) Lyons, Lisa (Matt) Berch, and Carolyn Lyons. Proud grandmother of Anthony (Sierra) Lyons, Christopher (Adrian Hughes) Urbanek, and Douglas (Alexandra Stephens) Lyons. Devoted "Great-Great" of Sawyer, Audra, and Raymond.

Barbara was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She achieved her associate's degree from the University of Akron. She married her beloved John and they began their family in Ohio and California. In 1972, the family moved to Dearborn, Michigan with John's work with Firestone and raised their children. Barbara set the standard on being an incredible wife, mother, and matriarch of the family.

Visitation at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 25, 11am-1pm. Service at the funeral home at 1pm. Private interment at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
