5 minutes ....by: Lori Sage-Leonard
If only I had 5 more minutes, the day you passed away,
I would have had time to tell you,
All the things I needed to say.
My fear of losing you kept me at bay.
The last time I talked to you, I wished I woulda known.
I would have said more love you's, and kept you on the phone.
If I had only 5 more minutes, the day you passed away,
I'd hold on to you with real tight hugs,
And pushed my fear away,
I would tell you that I'll miss you,
More than you will ever know!
Now God has called upon you. And it's time to get your wings.
To leave this life behind you and enjoy all Heaven's beautiful things.
I can see you now with Gran and Joey, happy and reunited.
So, wait for me Mom in Heaven,
Don't let me come alone.
The day the angels come for me,
Please be there to bring me HOME!
Lori Sage-Leonard
