Obituary

Barbara Ann Schultz (Weigel) Date of Birth: 3-27-40 Date of Passing: 1-26-25

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Schultz on 1-26-25 at the age of 84. Barbara was a loving mother, cherished grandmother, a beloved friend to many and a dedicated follower of Christ's good word. She is survived by her children Dean (Penny) Hoover and Darla (Ken) Barbee and her grandchildren Alyssa Hoover, Kaitlyn Locker and Jacob Barbee, who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Born in Elliston, Ohio, Barbara dedicated her life to raising her 2 children, to her church, St Paul United Church of Christ in Taylor, Michigan, to the Taylor Michigan school system as a board member and advisor and later as a dedicated community volunteer. Barbara was also a dedicated and proud Ford Motor Company employee for over 30 years, and an excellent brand ambassador. Barbara made friends wherever she went, touching their hearts with her smile and warm-heartedness. She was known for her kindness, generosity, sense of community and dedicated faith in the Lord and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The viewing will be held on Friday, January 31 from 2pm to 8pm, at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylor Michigan.
