Beatrice Margaret VanBuhler, 98 years young, passed away on April 11, 2018. Beatrice was born in Wyandotte, Michigan. She was an only child and married Russell(deceased, 2007) on August 23, 1940 and was absorbed into his loving family of 9 siblings whom she shared many years of large family gatherings.
Beatrice lived most of her life in Taylor, Michigan and was an avid participant in her chuch, St. Alfred Parish and was a member of the Christian Mother's Altar Society for over 60 years. She spent many years serving her church and community as a Eucharist Minister and volunteering at the school hot dog lunches and Fall Festivals. She was mostly a stay at home mom raising 5 children and later in life working at Hudson's and enjoying her discount.
During her younger years she enjoyed working on ceramics, cake
decorating, sewing, pinochle, and bowling on leagues with the church and family members.
One of the highlights in her life was visiting Rome, Italy with her Pastor and church family when she was in her 90's.
Loving mother of Patricia (Frank) Aquino, Larry (Diane) VanBuhler, Carol (Glen) Kramarich, Sharon (Teddy) Beaudoin, and Lorene Klaft. In addition she is survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
