NADON, Bernard G. was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Bernie was raised in Detroit during its finest years. He graduated from Catholic Centeral High School (Belmont Street) in 1950 and was forever proud of that fact. He attended the University of Detroit, studying under the Jesuit priests and then served his country in the Air Force. Bernie loved doing any activity with his bride, Peggy, especially going out to eat, taking walks and golfing. He loved a good joke. He passed his sense of humor on to his children Mary (an artist in Ireland); Beth Ann (a mother, wife, and artist); B.J. (a family therapist in Southern California); and Patrick (an educator in Ontario, Canada). Bernie was blessed to have nine grandchildren. Bernie's funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am on Monday, August 13th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 22430 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48124. The family will receive friends at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Sunday, August 12th between 2 pm and 8 pm, 22546 Michigan Ave. A scripture reading will take place at 6:30 pm.
