Bette Ohm passed away on January 8, 2022 at the age of 80.

Bette Joy Ohm

Bette was born and raised in a small town in Ohio called Gypsum. She attend grade school at the Immaculate Conception church in Port Clinton Ohio and graduated from Port Clinton High school where she met her husband to be at an early age of 16 and married her husband at the age of 18, he was 21, and they were married at St Joseph Catholic church in Marblehead Ohio.

Bette gave birth to four beautiful children, named: Dawn, Mathew, Diane and Michael.

At the age of 26 the family moved to Dearborn and the three oldest children attended grade school at Sacred Heart Parish. Michael, her youngest son, had the terrible tragedy of be hit and killed by a car in front of her house while she was in the hospital.

As her family grew older she became the grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren, Mark, Leah and Rachel and eventually Great Grandmother of Luke, Emily, Alex and Anna.

During her life time she became the Godmother of her Brother Bob's four children, John, Joe, Jim and Rocky which she loved very much and had the pleasure of watching them developing there family's.

In addition to raising the family she became the Secretary Treasure of a company of which she was part owner.

She also headed up the development of two raffles at Sacred Heart that brought in a large sum of money for the parish, and she contributed a good sum of money for the development of the Parish Hall.

She was a very devoted wife who loved her husband, Dennis, for 60 years.

What a wonderful life she lived and will be missed very, very, much.
