Obituary

Betty Ann Schafran, age 76 of New Boston, passed away August 26, 2019. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond. Survived by her brothers in law Andrew (Andy) Schafran and Philip (Linda) Schafran, sisters in law Karen Nichols and Cindy Roy, niece and nephew and dear friend Martha Smith. At a young age Betty played the viola, violin, piano, organ and was in a 5 piece band. Betty was a cosmetologist for over 35 years. As a model, she was selected  to model at Cobo Hall in the 60's for the Auto Show and also wedding gowns at Mary Jane's Bridal Salon. Betty had a long list of leisure interests in which included sports, fishing, swimming, volleyball tennis, hunting, trap & skeet shooting, gourmet cooking and gardening. Betty was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Visitation Saturday August 31 st from 12pm until at 2:00pm. Funeral Services at 2:00pm at J.L. Peters Funeral Home, Inc. 3880 Fort St., Lincoln Park. 313-928-6500.
