Betty Sciarrotta passed away peacefully at home in Dearborn surrounded by her loving family on May 17, 2024 at the age of 89. She was born on April 24, 1935 in Kentucky to Frank and Bonnie Seat. Beloved wife of the late Tony. Loving mother of Janet (John) Jergovich, Donna Andrus, John (Leah) Sciarrotta, Frank Sciarrotta, Bonnie Sciarrotta, Joe (Pam) Sciarrotta, and Kristine (Craig) Carpenter. Proud grandmother of Cara (Josh), John Anthony, Nina (Paul), Janna (Zachary), Erica (Dan), Carly (Patrick), Michael, Anthony, Antonio (Alexa), Peter, Adriana, and Tia. Great-grandmother of Jake, Addison, Luke, Zachary, Brooke, Yanni, Stella, Amelia, Quinn, Grace, Sofia, and Patrick. Dear sister of the late Frank Seat, Jr. and sister-in-law of the late Rosemary Barsotti. Caring Aunt of Bobby, Mary Jo, the late Dante, the late John, the late Anthony. Betty will also be missed by countless other family and friends.

Visitation at the Dearborn Location of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Monday, May 20, 3-8pm. Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, May 21, at 11am. Gathering at the church begins at 10:30am. Entombment at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
