Billy E. Maynard, age 80, of Dearborn Heights passed away April 3rd, 2019.

He joins his beloved wife, Lorraine, in eternal peace
Proud father of Kelly (Patrick) Brooks, Kristi Maynard, and Jenny Maynard.
Dear grandfather of Kara (Marshall), PJ (Jackie), Jordan, Jonathon, Summer, Dylan, and Jacob.
Caring great-grandfather of Ezekiel and Levi.
Treasured brother of Willena Knight.
Cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Billy was a man of many talents and interests. He worked for General Motors as an honorary engineer for 42 loyal years. He was an avid fisherman and loved getting out on the water to practice his sport. Billy was extremely handy and would tinker with people's cars to fix them and made incredible wonders with his woodworking skills. His generosity knew no bounds. He was friendly to everyone he met and had a healthy funny bone, especially when it came to dad jokes. He was a kind, caring, and honest man who will be missed dearly by the ones with the honor of knowing him.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10th from 2-8PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph. Funeral on Thursday, April 11th, instate 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Guardian Lutheran Church, 24544 Cherry Hill St, Dearborn, MI 48124. Billy will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Cemetery.
