Sanders, Billy T. Age 80 of Taylor, died of cancer at his home on August 29, 2008, surrounded by his family. Billy was born to the late Earnest and Maude Sanders on August 6, 1928 in Hellier Kentucky. He grew up in Weeksbury, Floyd County, Kentucky and married Patsy Johnson deceased on December 21, 1949. Billy married Wanda Stanley in October, 2000. He is survived by his daughters Geneva Earnest Casebolt of Kentucky, Rayma Sanders of California, Billie Joseph Szenderski of Ohio, Cheryl Donald Waddell of Georgia and Donna Waddell of Michigan. He also has two stepsons, Rick and Mark Stanley. The greatest joys of Billy's life were his five grandchildren; Jaime Spencer Stewart, Matthew, Chelsea, Mark and Meaegan Waddell. They feel so fortunate to have had such a loving and generous man in their lives. He taught them ethics, morals and values and installed in them integrity, a strong work ethic and a love of knowledge. Billy had five brothers and two sisters: Trubie deceased, Earnest Sanders Jr. Doug, Eugene deceased, Lary Gledith, Robert Brenda, Norma William Sword and Peggy Mullins. Billy loved his siblings very much and they were a source of strength and support for him all the days of his life. Billy was a very active member of the Gateway Church of Christ and the Gateway Golden Agers. he was greatly admired for his knowledge of the Bible and his deep religious convictions. he left a wonderful and unforgetable impression on all who made his aquaintance. he was admired by everyone who knew him and will be greatly and deeply missed. Funeral services, Tuesday 10:00a.m. at the Taylor Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph. Visitation Sunday 4-9p.m. and Monday 12-9 p.m.
