Winnie, Billy E. October 30, 2015, age 78. He was born on March 25, 1937 in Wartburg, Tennessee. Son of the late John and Viola (Hall) Winnie. Loving husband to Betty J. Winnie, devoted dad to Dennis Winnie and Teresa, Donna Bowman and Philip and Diane Stacy and Dave. Papaw to Adam Winnie, Candice Willis and Jeremy, David Butera, Lynnae Winnie, Maria Loomis and Joe, Nikki Vega and Mike, Traci Brown and Danny, Travis Bowman and Megan. Papaw Bill to great grandchildren, Charlie, Cruz, Joey, Luke, Lillian, Hudson, Mia, Jax, Henley. Loving Brother to Wanda Hendrickson and Tom, Virginia Stanfill (and the late Bill). Uncle to David (Barb), Danny, Darlene, Debbie and Donnie. Great uncle to Brian (Rachel), Bradley and Katie. Billy was a wonderful, Christian man and served his church as deacon. He was a skilled machinist with AT&G for 36 years. He liked to spend time with his family, watching the Lions and Tigers sports teams, working on projects with his family, visiting all of his relatives in his home state of Tennessee, visiting his Florida house sitting on the lanai and loved eating at Cracker Barrel. Billy was the kindest, nicest, most generous man and everyone loved him. Funeral Service Wednesday, November 4, 2015, 11:00am at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral, 9800 S. Telegraph Rd.
