Brian K. Parker. Age 62 of Dearborn. Loving father of Addison and Olivia. Beloved life partner of Cathleen Herman. Also survived by sister Torri (Dan) Dunne. Preceded in death by parents Kenneth J. Parker and Irene A. Fodor. Brian lived the way he wanted everyone around him to feel — fully, warmly, and with a laugh never far away. His sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family and all who were lucky enough to know him. A proud man of Hungarian and Scots-Irish heritage, Brian carried that identity with him everywhere he went — whether he was on the golf course, in the kitchen, or somewhere new in the world. He was an avid traveler and brought the same curiosity and passion into each moment of his life. He had a gift for art, which he made a career out of, and an even greater gift for making people laugh and feel seen. Brian is gone too soon, but the joy he brought to this world doesn't leave with him. It lives on in every shared meal, every round of golf, every belly laugh — and in everyone he loved. In lieu of flowers we would appreciate memorial contributions to be made to the The Detroit Institute of Arts or the Evans Scholars Foundation to honor Brian's love of the arts and golf.

Brian's Memorial Gathering will be Sunday, February 22nd from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Dearborn Location of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Family Eulogy Sunday 3:00 p.m.
