Brian J. Rodden passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 78. He leaves behind his nephew, Brian, and Brian's 3 children. He is also survived by numerous cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elese, his brother, Larry, and his niece, Nora.

Brian worked for 26 years as a letter carrier in the USPS in the Dearborn/downriver areas. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He also held a degree in Forestry and worked for a short time in the Department of Conservation before joining the Army.

Brian was a quiet and solitary man who left large impressions on the people he met. He enjoyed hunting, hiking, golfing, and going to Detroit Tigers' games.

A visitation will be held at the Dearborn location of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Sunday, December 1st, 2024, 4-8pm. A Vietnam Veterans of America ceremony will be held Sunday at 6pm.  A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 2nd at10:30am.  Interment with Army honors to follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 1:30pm.
