Nelson, Carl, WWII Veteran, Detroit Edison retiree and long time resident of Taylor, MI, passed away quietly at the age of 90 on Sunday, August 19, 2012, in the home of his daughter in Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Virginia, and his daughter Cheryl. He is survived by his daughters Kathleen Vervisch and Linda Schmit and her husband Martin, 4 grandchildren: Rebecca Deland, Michael Ramsey, Theresa Jordan and Carl Vervisch and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Taylor
