Obituary

Carol Ann Auquier, age 82 of Taylor, Michigan, was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 25th, 1939 and entered into the arms of our Lord on May 14th, 2022 in Wayne, Michigan.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Auquier. Adoring mother to Craig Malesev, Christopher (Dana) Malesev, Colleen (Paul) Rieckhoff, and Michael Malesev. Loving grandmother to Nicholas (Shelby) Rieckhoff, Taylor Rieckhoff, Ryan Rieckhoff, Trent Tappan, Trevor Tappan, and Tori Tappan. Great-grandmother of Lola, Mirielle, and Griffin. Sister of Mickey (Yoneko) Ivankovics, Jeffrey (Toni) Johnstone, and Mark (Lynne) Ivankovics. Cherished daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Ivankovics. Also leaves behind many loved cousins, nephews, and friends.

Carol enjoyed spending her time with her children and taking care of her family. One of her favorite past times were going up North, going to art fairs, Tigers games, automotive shows like the Woodward Cruise and the Camaro Cruise in Ypsilanti. Carol and Craig would often go on adventures to Bishop Park and out to eat, especially partaking in frozen custards! Carol was a devout Catholic and a lifelong member of St. Alfred's Catholic Church located in Taylor, Michigan. Carol spent a lot of her time volunteering, especially at the Veteran's Museum and the St. Alfred's Annual Fall Festival.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alfred's Catholic Church located at 24175 Baske Street in Taylor, Michigan 48180 on Friday, May 20th, 2022 at 1:00PM with an Instate time of 12:30PM.
