Carol Piasecki, age 89, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2022. Carol was born in Flat Rock, Michigan on September 29, 1932, to Ida and John Whisler. She had a heart of gold and unconditionally gave of herself to family, friends, and neighbors. She made those around her always feel needed and wanted. Her hobbies included gardening, oil painting, reading, and world travel. As an avid lover of animals, she enjoyed being around her spoiled cats (Kealiah, Casey and Riley) who always returned her love. Carol is beloved mother of Edward Piasecki (Susan), daughters Kimberly Nevshehir (Noel), and Kristen Vasquez (Glen Montagne). One of the happiest times of her life was being around her grandchildren Nicolas, Jamie Wing (Joe), Shannon Jordan (Eric), Vanessa Vasquez, and Vika Aviles (Geovanni). She was a most loving great grandmother to Carter and Reece Jordan and Bennett and Declan Wing.

Funeral mass for Carol will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9th at St. Kateri Catholic Church, 16101 Rotunda Dr., Dearborn, MI 48120. Gathering at church from 10:00 a.m.   A luncheon reception will be held at the church at 12:00 p.m. Please leave a condolence to comfort the family.
