Carrie Ann Ruth (née McQuaid) age 67, passed away on July 18, 2025, in Dearborn, Michigan. Born on June 19, 1958, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Carrie's journey was one of dedication, love, and quiet strength. Carrie spent her career initially with animals. Helping open the first Premier Pet Supply in Beverly Hills, Michigan. Then she moved on to be a line worker at Ford Motor Company, where she retired from. Her years of hard work and commitment reflected her strong work ethic and resilience. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Julie Ruth and son-in-law Richard Fetterly. Her grandsons Dylan and Noah Fetterly. She also leaves behind her niece Kori McQuaid and her sister-in-law Billie McQuaid. Cousins John and Tim Thomas (Karen). Carrie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Walter and Rose McQuaid. Carrie had a deep love for animals-so much so that those who knew her often said she had owned every animal under the sun. Her home was always filled with the warmth of furry companions, each one cherished as part of the family. Carrie loved movies and watching television shows; sharing lively discussions about them with her daughter. These moments created lasting memories filled with laughter and connection. Carrie will be remembered as a wonderful person with a huge heart. Her kindness touched many lives, and her absence will be felt deeply every minute of every day. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
