Latham, Catherine nee Maryo born October 19, 1929, died Thursday, February 26, 2009 after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Gerald, who died in January, and loving mother of Karen Tom Milligan and Craig Lynne. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeffrey Milligan, and Elizabeth and Scott Latham. Kate was a devoted mother who considered raising her children her most important job. A lifelong resident of Dearborn, she delivered Meals On Wheels with her husband, and volunteered at Snow Elementary School for many years. Kate was also an accomplished artist and a member of the Sweet Adelines. Funeral Sunday 2 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Visitation Saturday 6:30-9 p.m. and Sunday 12 Noon until time of service.
