DICKELMAN, Charles E. "Big D"   April 5, 2017       Age 82

Charles was born and raised in Romulus, to the late Charles F.  & Christine Dickelman on October 15, 1934.

Charles was the dearest Brother of Dolores, of Tennessee and the late Robert, Louise and Audrey. Uncle to two nieces and three nephews.

Charles graduated from U of M in 1956. He spent 41 years teaching Social Studies in the Taylor School District, as well as serving many years as Yearbook Advisor at Kennedy and Taylor Center High Schools.  Throughout his years teaching career he earned the respect and admiration of Students, Parents and Peers.

Many thanks to Livonia Woods Rehabilitation, Plymouth Inn Assisted Living and Assured Hospice Group for the good care given to Charlie.

Visitation will be held Saturday 3-8 pm, with the Funeral Service Sunday at 2 pm, at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.  Memorials suggested to St. Paul United Church of Christ and the Michigan Humane Society.
