Charles LaPointe, 81, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. He is survived by his daughter, Dana LaPointe-O'Sullivan and grandchildren, Travis (Kara) O'Sullivan, Ryan LaPointe, Caitlyn Winship LaPointe, and Devon Herren. He is predeceased by his daughter, Dawn LaPointe (12/2021) and ex-wife, Dee LaPointe (3/2021).

Charles was a man of decorum and ceremony. He paid attention to the details and always had everything in its place. In his younger days he was an active mentor with the Jaycees and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Professionally he owned and ran LaPointe's formal wear and costumes for 30+ years, as well as a CFO and tax consultant.

Dawn had achieved much in her life, from being an astute paralegal to a talented cook and baker. She was also passionate about animals and had rescued numerous over the years. Before passing she was devoted to looking after her father.

Dolores ("Dee") was a good neighbor and dear friend of many. Active in her spiritual community, helping the homeless, Make a Wish Foundation and Race for the Cure.

A Memorial service will be held to celebrate the lives of Charles, Dawn, and Dee on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 3:00pm and gathering time for friends and family to begin at 1:00pm prior to the services located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home Taylor Chapel 9800 Telegraph Road, Taylor, MI 48180 .
