Nordstrom, Charles D. June 26, 2011. Age 89. Formerly of Dearborn and recently of Richfeild Twp., MI And Port Charlotte, FL. He's currently survived by his beloved wife, Jean nee Ziegler. Dear father of Karen Nevermann Paul, David C. Tamara, and Karl R. Debra. Cherished Grandfather of Jennifer Nevermann, Brian Kourtney Nordstrom, Sara Ian Need, Erik Helen Nordstrom, Craig Michelle Nordstrom, Kirsten Nordstrom, and Lisa Nordstrom. Great grandfather of three. Born May 20, 1922 in Galltizin, Pennsylvania. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, George Emil Nordstrom Arline. He was a superintendent in the Rouge Steel Mill at Ford Motor Company for 42 years. In August, 1942, He enlisted and served in the Flaming Bomb 121st Ordinance Company Western Defense. Service in honor of his life will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, June 29th, at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave.. Visitation from 10:00am until time of service.
