Cheryl E.
Jester
July 30, 1946 – September 27, 2020
Cheryl Jester was born July 30, 1946. To her parents were William and Rhoda Jester. She grew up with her brother Richard Jester. She went on to have a son of her own, Douglas. Douglas was the center of her world and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for him. She would literally drop everything, without question, to help her son. They were very close and built many memories going on trips to the beach with Doug and his friends. Later, when Doug married Erica and had her grandchildren, Isla, Easton and Cora, the center of her world expanded.
She spent over 30 years as a mail carrier for the United States Post Office. After her retirement, she spent as much time as she could traveling with her family friends. She loved to visit the ocean. She considered this her paradise.
When not on vacation, you could find Cheryl searching for treasures with her friends from the Michigan Metal Detecting Club! Her love of treasure hunting didn't stop at this, she would go to any garage sale and antique shop. Every Friday she would babysit the grandkids and take them on her adventures where she taught them how to spot the perfect item to add to their collection. The kids loved it!
She was an artist when it came to decorating a cake. Her creations looked so beautiful that you would almost feel guilty about cutting it!
Cheryl was a true animal lover. She had a dog Lola that she absolutely adored. There were many charities that she donated to that would benefit the wellness of animals.
Cheryl as definitely a one of a kind with a heart of gold. The world lost an Angel on September 27, 2020, while heaven gained another. She will be deeply missed.
