Corazon Fantony, age 90, passed away on January 18, 2021.

Beloved wife of the late Santos Labrador Fantony.

Survived by the only living sibling, Perla Gapido.

Loving mother of Diadem (Rose Marie) Fantony, Ramon (Maritess) Fantony, Lynn (George) Smith, Aladdin (Nida) Fantony, Zylla Green, and Vener Fantony.

Dear grandmother of Diana Rose (Jacob) Fantony, Elster Mar (Christiane) Fantony, Mark Charles (Averence) Fantony, Raymond Mykel Fantony, River Jan Fantony, Perry Nathan (Mallory) Smith, Andre Fantony (Amanda) Smith, Sarah Lynn (Sophia) Smith, Jocris Deciera, Zack Green, Zerjei Green, and Zander Green.

Treasured great grandchildren: Liahona, Liam, Leif, Inigo, Madelyn, Evan, Aubrey, and Autumn.

Faith was very important to Corazon - when she woke up in the morning, the first thing she would do is open her Bible and read a verse.  Most of the pages in her Bible have the scriptures marked with who she read them to. She was an avid reader and especially loved Geography and History.  She had a great memory and memorized every state capital in the United States as well as the capitals of other countries.

Corazon moved from the Philippines to Michigan in 1991.  She was very passionate about politics and watching the debates.  She was a huge Trump supporter and in 2004 she named her dog "Trump."

Family will have a private service at 11:00AM (viewing at 10:00AM) on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home located at 9800 Telegraph Rd.  Burial at Michigan Memorial Park.
