Grandfather of Robert Anderson, Ryan Anderson, Danielle (Christopher) Dorris, Benjamin Dale Miller III, Laura (Michael) McMasters, Sandra (Ken) Murray, D.J. Nader, and Caroline (Marc) Ghafoori. Great grandfather of Deanna Dorris, Cicely Dorris, Joshua Korotney, Kayla McMasters, Andrew Murray, Jessica Murray, and Lila Elara. Great great grandfather of Austin Turner, Christopher Turner, and Brycen Korotney. Born in Highland Park, MI. Attended St. Joseph Elementary School in Dexter, MI, and graduated from St. Gregory High School in Detroit. Highly decorated WWII veteran. Founding member of the Church of the Divine Child, active member of the men's club and usher's club, 30 year electrician and supervisor of W.D. Gale Electric in Detroit, 60 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW Local 58), member of Fr. Patrick O'Kelly K of C counsel and Dearborn Heights Goodfellows. Lifelong member of the VFW. Licensed pilot, golfer, avid swimmer and diver. Funeral Mass Tuesday 9:30 am from the Church of the Divine Child, 1055 Silvery Lane, Dearborn. Instate at church at 9:00 am. Visitation on Monday 4-9 pm from the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Rosary Monday at 7:00 pm.
