Darrel G. Wandless – Age 81, passed away in Canton, Michigan on January 2, 2019. Proud father of Carrie (Michael) James, and Kimberly (Michael) Kerstetter. Caring grandfather of Jordan, Andrew, Lauren, Austin, Sebastian, Mikaela, and Amber. Former spouse of Pamela Adams. Dear brother of Donald (Margaret) Wandless. Beloved by so many more friends and family.

Darrel had many interests during his lifetime. He loved to relax by golfing and developed his talents for woodworking and coaching soccer. Over all things, though, he was handy with cars. He tinkered from childhood at his father's garage in Colorado. He went on to apply these skills while serving in the United States Army as a mechanic stationed in Alaska. Eventually he moved to Dearborn to join the workforce at Ford Motor Company. He was a mechanical engineer there for over 30 loyal years. Even after retirement Darrel found time to keep cars in his life. He restored his own 1968 Firebird, 1970 Mark III, and joined a group project with his friends to fix up a 1965 Mustang. Darrel was an amazing man and will be missed by so many.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 6 ^th from 3-7PM. Funeral Monday, January 7 ^th at 10AM. All services to be located at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home 22546 Michigan Ave. Darrel will be laid to rest at Mt. Kelly cemetery.
