David was born in Indiana and spent his early years there before the family moved to Michigan in 1951. He was a resident of Dearborn and the son of Laurence and the late Mary Ann. David graduated from the Lincoln Park Schools and attended Kalamazoo College. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Worked for Revere Copper and Brass in Detroit, and for Complex Steel and Wire in Wayne. David was an enthusiast for all manner of music. He retired in 2008. He is survived by his father Laurence, brothers Laurence Jr. (Peggy) and Donald. Also by many other relatives and friends. Memorial tributes may be made to Lincoln Park First Methodist Church. Visitation Thursday, 4-8pm at J.L. Peters Funeral Home 3880 Fort Lincoln Park Michigan (313-928-6500). In state at First Methodist Church of Lincoln Park., Friday January 28 from 10-11am with services at 11am.
