Born on September 30th, 1939. Entered into rest on March 28th, 2024.  Age 84.  Beloved husband of Alice Thornton Lopez. Loving father of Lynda Lopez, Dawn Reiley, David Lopez (Diane) and Jennifer Wysocki. Dearest grandfather of Katelyn Lopez, Nicole Reiley and Maya Wysocki. Retiree of Ford Motor Company.  David was a lover of the arts, animals, and a friendly game of racquetball. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 3rd at First United Methodist Church of Dearborn, 22124 Garrison St. Dearborn, MI. 48124. Gathering from 10:00 a.m.  Visitation Tuesday 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Dearborn Location of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 22546 Michigan Ave. Dearborn, 48124.  Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Twp., MI.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit, Friends of Animals of Metro Detroit , Penrickton Center for Blind Children, Penrickton Center for Blind Children or First United Methodist Church of Dearborn First United Methodist Church of Dearborn .
