David A. Newberg,  September 6, 2021, age 67. Beloved brother of Beth (Bill Valentine), Amy, Sally (Dave) Turko, Rich (Mary), and Meg (Rob) Morrison.  Fun and proud uncle of Nick, Michael (Johanna) and Carly Turko, Annie Valentine, Sara Newberg, Carrie and Robert Morrison.  Predeceased by parents Cynthia and Richard Newberg and sister Carol. Dave was funny, generous and independent.  He loved playing golf and hockey and watching all sports.  "Big Dave" could talk to anyone and loved getting peoples' life histories.  He had a quick wit and kept us laughing. Dave enjoyed cooking and tending his vegetable garden.  He attended Northern Michigan University and worked for many years at Admiral Tool.  He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.  A memorial will be held on October 2, 2021 from 1 pm - 5 pm with a service at 4 pm at Howe Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48124.  In lieu of flowers, tributes suggested to Forgotten Harvest, www.forgottenharvest.org .
