David Petry, 71, passed away in Detroit, Michigan on July 30th, 2019.

Beloved father of Sean (Angela) Petry.
Dear grandfather of Tyler and Kyle.
Caring brother of Wayne (Flossie) and Kenneth (Donna).
Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Treasured son of the late Paul and Grace.

David graduated Taylor Center High School in 1966 and went on to bravely serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He then worked as a pipefitter for McClouth Steel for 30 dedicated years.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 4th from 1-8PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph. David will be laid to rest at Ridge Lawn Cemetery in Lake County, Indiana.
